Malted Mystery Top

Way back last summer, I decided I needed to get back to making something.  I signed up for Malted Mystery QAL by Cheryl at Meadow Mist Designs.

I started with this fabric pick, along with my standard Kona White for the background.

Then we cut the majority of the fabric.  Cheryl had everything done so well.  She provided labels for each of the pieces cut.

Over the next months things started to happen.  Piecing began and blocks were  being made.

Before you knew it we had a top.  It was a great Quilt Along, easy to keep up with the monthly clues.  Cheryl does a wonderful job of keeping things manageable.

Now I need to find a backing and then get busy with the quilting!  And definitely need better pictures!!

And then this happened, Marble Mystery QAL.  I may need to do this all over again with a new pattern.

If you have a few minutes head over to Cheryl’s link up for the finished quilts here.

That’s so pretty and looks complicated.

Love this – the colors, the pattern, it’s just stunning! My brain can’t handle “mystery” in quilting, so I deeply admire anyone who can 😀

Its such a great quilt and I am sure Marble Mystery will be equally good. I did one or two of hers, and they were great quilts.
