Decided I need to do a quick project and use up some of the fabric sitting in my drawers. Pulled out a jelly roll of Holiday Essentials, Halloween by Stacy Iest Hsu.
Decided on a quick pattern, Material Girl Quilts – Jelly Roll 18 Patch free pattern.
It was quick to go together and I had some orange fabric for backing. Some quick straight line quilting, using some of my leftover black thread, for a quick finish. Threw it right in the wash and from the dryer it went to the couch.
Had a few pieces leftover from the jelly roll strips and put them into a little mug rug. Win-Win.

that pattern looks great in halloween fabric
Super Cute!!! Love the pattern and the material!!
Very fun and festive, just in time for the holiday. Happy stitching this week.
Ohhh, great quickie quilt pattern!!! And love the little mini you squeezed out of the scraps, Jan!!!
What a fun quilt. That fat quarter pack really worked well in this pattern. You make it sound really easy too.
Great fabric and a really fun quilt and mug rug. I hope you enjoy curling up and cuddling under it this month!
Halloween fabric is so much fun and I love the pattern choice. Great that you got a little bonus piece!
