It is hard to believe that 2022 is just about complete. I started quilting in 2016 and have made a total of 105 quilts. This year is my lowest year with 10 quilts this made.
Here are my favorites from 2022.
I put this together early this year, definetly ready for 2022 Christmas.
Another Christmas quilt for our bed, done long before the holidays!
Always enjoy making quilts for friends. Here is one finished this summer.
I have been in the Stash Bee Quilt group for the last five years. This is my quilt from this year, not sure why, but this is the softest quilt ever. Due to some health issues, I didn’t want to commit time for next years Bee, so I’ll be watching from sidelines.
I’m linking up with Meadow Mist Designs – Best of 2022.
Head over to the link and check out everyone’s favorites for 2022.
A beautiful batch of quilts for the year. I’m very impressed you have not one but two Christmas quilts ready in time. I am always starting these things way too late! All the best for 2023!

Love your two Christmas quilts and that one is a king size is so impressive. So fun that you had the Christmas quilts for this year to enjoy during the season. Tochi is so beautiful – I have a WIP with that line, hope to get to it in February or March. I do wonder what made that teal quilt so soft? Great finishes and fun to see again.
I love it when a quilt turns out surprisingly soft and cuddly. Did you use the same batting as usual? The softest quilt I have ever made was made using Cloud9 Cirrus Solids. It is absolutely dreamy to cuddle with!!
Really love your Tochi quilt!!!
Beautiful Christmas quilts! Thanks for linking up!
You created joy and beauty, Jan. Wishing you continued creativity in 2023. Happy New Year!
Sometimes I think January should be proclaimed Christmas quilting month. I never get in the mood for holiday sewing until it’s actually the holidays. January would be a relaxing month to make something, and then you have the fun of getting it out kind of like a present you forgot about in the fall. Now you seem to have done that AND made a quilt late in the year. What fun! Have a beautiful quilty new year!
Congrats on these quilt finishes! They are all SEW wonderful. I hope to finish a Christmas quilt… Someday!
Gorgeous quilts!!
