I’m finally getting back to quilting. Blogging is taking a bit more effort to get done.
Here is a quick finish of two runners. I got the first from leftover blocks from my Hands 2 Help- 2022 charity quilt. These are the leftover pieces from the Jolly Jump Bar rows put into a runner.
Then I made HSTs from the blocks used in the Jolly Bar Jump pattern.
I had enough blocks to make the runner on the bottom below. I only had 2 HSTs left over after this runner.
Not sure where these will live, but for now they are a finish.
Look what I’m doing on Saturday! Holy Moly I can’t believe I signed up for this. I’ve never done this before, of course I am walking. Been walking a bit since the first of the year and am doing about 6 miles 5 days a week. So wish me luck!!!
Next projects up:
Two more Hands 2 Help quilts
Quilting of a king Christmas Quilt

Nice runner! I like making things from bonus blocks and leaders and enders; I think it’s the idea of something for nothing!
I love your runners from your leftovers! That is perfect. I am so impressed with you and your walking…hooray for you. Lots of luck with the walk! Is that your category…..walk over an hour…I kind of love that.
Ohhh LOTS of luck!!! I Love it!!!
The runners look great and are a fabulous way to use up extra fabric. I hope the walk on Saturday is a lot of fun!
Love the colors in your runners, Jan!!! And looks like YOU will be the runner on Saturday, or walker!!! You can do it! We’re all rooting for you!!! Thanks for linking up with TGIFF!!!
Lovely modern runners and great use of the leftovers 🙂 Hope you have/had lots of fun during the community walk. I was never a runner but 15ish years back did the odd small one for charity. I always loved the athmosphere. Hope you had a great time! xo
Such cheerful, fun table runners. Great use of orphan blocks. Nothing like a the energy from a charity walk. Enjoy!
