I was in need of a few more holiday runners. Luckily I had a layer cake, Farmhouse Christmas by Echo Park Paper Co, and a charm pack, Merrily by Gingiber Zest for your nest for Moda.
First up was a quilt pattern Starry Charms by Fat Quarter Shop. I used the pattern for a runner ( to also test it out for future quilt pattern).
Found some leftover fabric from a past Christmas quilt for the backing. And another leftover piece for the binding.
Love how this one turned out.
Onto another simple runner. The layer cake gave me two runners. I used a quick sew together, like a Jelly Roll Race quilt. Found some red from the stash and my basic black and white stripe for the binding.
Just trying to catch up on posting about my finishes. More to come soon!
Those are both lovely and festive! I love a good table runner and a quick (kind of sort of until you get to the binding) finish!
Wow, you really have been quite busy. I like the black, white, and red holiday colorway a lot!
Awesome!!! I love your striped binding, Jan. Both runners are super cute. I love the charm pack race idea!!! Next time, my thought–put the label on the front.
My favorite is the starry charms runner, easy but effective for sure!
Super cute!! Love the colors, Happy Holidays!!
Such pretty runners, and I love that striped binding!
