Sewcialites QAL took a break over the holidays and was back the first Friday after the holidays.
Here is the link to all the details and past block patterns, Sewcialites QAL.
Just a reminder I am using a Grunge Layer Cake and just taking the next square off the stack for each block. No planning, no second guessing.

We are just past the half way point. I am thrilled to have kept up with the QAL and that I have been completing each little 3.5″ block along the way. Some of these pieces are so small for me, it gives me a great new appreciation for those who do such small piecing.
Looking forward to doing the remaining blocks and then putting this little sampler together. It will be my first sampler ever.
I am definitely living vicariously through you. Your 3 1/2″ blocks are going to make such a fun sampler!
I love your approach to this – next piece is the next color up – and your fortitude with your 3.5” blocks. It is a challenge doing those and you are doing a fabulous job.
Interesting plan, Jan, simply taking the next square off the stack! They’re looking so cute!!!
Your blocks are all so nicely done, Jan. It’s really been fun following your progress as you work through them. Your first sampler quilt – yippee!
Pretty blocks, and fabrics, I also like your “next square off the stack” approach. Very improv and fun.
