The Fat Quarter Shop is doing a quilt along. Each designer block can be made in 9″, 6″ or 3″finished. I still can’t believe that I am doing 3 inch blocks. Here is a link to the QAL.
Block 2-Loyal is designed by Lisa Bongean. This block was fairly quick to put together. Remember I am using a layer cake of Grunge by Moda. You all know I have no sense of design or color, so I am using a layer cake of Grunge. As each block comes out, I just take the next layer cake square. No thought to color choice, just a simple plan.
Block 3 – Affection by Brigitte Heitland. This block was a bit of a challenge. I had to rip one side out twice to get the points to work. But ripping out a 3 1/5″ block doesn’t take long.
I saw someone else do their block with the colors opposite, so decided to add that block too. I know there are a few that I won’t be making, so this will be a good replacement.

Block 6 – Devoted by Robin Pickens
I am enjoying these little blocks.
Just need to wait for the next 30 blocks.
Your little blocks are so fun! I do think you have a color sense, actually, and it’s a good one! Bridget really put you through the paces with that little block – yikes! But you did it so well!
The blocks are so tiny at that size! but look how precise you are – impressive!!
