Quick Projects

I have been on a quick project kick.  Using up random charm packs and scraps.

Just finished a Christmas Runner using a charm pack Joy by Kate Spain for Moda.

Did not want to just do charm squares, cut them in half and put them back together.

Used some mystery backing and had red strip for the binding.

This one is done!

Used up more scraps for Key Lanyards.  This one was my test.  I used wool batting, so it is a bit puffy.

Did the others with interfacing.  Another quick one.

Done and matches bags from Noodlehead Wide Open Bags for Secret Pals.

Nothing beats a quick finish, especially with fun fabric! Love the runner, Jan – it looks great! I’ve never made key fobs, but yours look great. Are you making the fobs and bags for gifts, or just for fun, or both?

Cute runner, Christmasy but doesn’t scream it! I have never made a key fob, I am curious how you attach the hardware? I went back and read your post on the bags, what a fun idea and you have made several people smile during this crazy time we are living in.

Hi Jan! I’ve been seeing your photos on IG and now a post in my email. You’ve been busy! I never think to make key fobs . . . and I even have the hardware already. Both projects look fun and festive. ~smile~ Roseanne
