April’s goal was to quilt and bind my #BeeLoved quilt. This quilt is for my Niece’s wedding in October. Her partner is a beekeeper, which is why I went with this cute bee fabric. These were the blocks for the Squiggles quilt. I used Bee Joyful by Deb Strain and Moda.
Here she is as a flimsy. Taking pictures on a windy day is not easy. But the sun was shining and it was a very nice Spring day, so why not.
The only way to quilt a Squiggles quilt is with squiggly lines. I used my favorite variegated thread in golds and yellows.
I found this panel by Timeless Treasures and added it to the backing.
Here are a few pictures of her all put together and bound.
All of those blocks gave me a large amount of HST leftovers, so I made a Small Pieces Pillow. I know you’ve seen it before, but it turned out very cute.
Just like late night infomercials, but wait there is more. I still had HSTs left, so I made another pillow. Just waiting to be able to go out and get the insert, but the pillows is done. It is 14 x 10.
Hope you are all staying safe!

Well Jan, once again you have created another Beautiful Quilt!! Your niece and her partner will absolutely love it!!
That quilt is a beauty, love the gray and yellows, and that backing is perfect!
What a beautiful quilt, and the bonus of two pillows from the HST trimmings! Great way to use up the whole bit. Wonderful finish, Jan! I’m sure they will be delighted with this quilt!
You know I love that quilt! But the panel on the back is the super icing on the cake!!! Too cute!
Gorgeous! Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and congrats on your finish. It is beautiful.
What a great quilt and the special little panel in the back…perfect! I love that you got the extra pillows out of it too. And yes, Squiggles deserves squiggles. I’ll tell you more about my love of squiggles some other day!
Love both the quilt and the pillow – the fabrics are so pleasant together.
Wow these are gorgeous! Love all three projects. Deb Strain is a favorite of mine, and so perfect for a bee keeper! Thanks for sharing on Wednesday Wait Loss.
