Sarah at Confessions of a Fabric Addict is kicking off her 2019 Hands 2 Help Comfort Quilt Challenge. She started the event in 2011 and it has grown so quickly.
This year there are five charities to chose from, so quilts of many sizes are needed, from Baby to twin.
Here is my post of how I signed up for my first year, What did I sign up for?
My first year I did one, second year two, third year three, guess that means four for this year. I decided early in the year that I would make quilts for Jack’s Basket. This year they are part of the 2019 Hands 2 Help Challenge, so I get to meet two of my goals for 2019 at once. Win-Win.
Oh, did I mention that Sarah has quite a few giveaways during the Challenge. Head over to her site and get in on the fun, Hands2Help
So excited to help be involved this year! Have to make a firm plan….tomorrow. You will have your new space soon – will these be done there or elsewhere??
I’m joining in for the first time this year, with our quilt group’s Carolina Hurricane Quilt project. Hopefully we can get it done by the end of May. I just need to piece the blocks and hand it off to my long arm friend. I may try to make a quilt for Jack’s Basket — it’s on my bucket list.
Go, Jan!!! Yay! Sew glad you’re making them for Jack’s Basket.
