I’ve been seeing all the Moda Love quilts going around on IG, Facebook and Pinterest, I had to jump in. Here is the pattern Moda Love
I think the best part of this pattern is the three sizes:
Mini Charm 12″ x 12″ finish
Charm Pack 32″ x 32″ finish (perfect for Jack’s Basket)
Layer Cake 72″ x 72″ finish
All I needed to do was decide which charm pack to use. I used Michael Miller Modern Basics.
One morning and the top is done! Now to find a backing. Can’t find a single piece backing, so what can we put together.
Found some, Blueberry Park, pieces from past projects.
If I do say so myself, it is pretty cute. If you couldn’t have guessed it is straight line quilting. All bound up with some scraps and it is ready to go. One more for Jack’s Basket, making three so far this year that are ready to go.
Good News we finally have a closing date, late March.
I’m so tempted to do a Moda Love! Yours makes me want to drop everything and make one. I was thinking I would quilt the Batik Burst today, but hmm. Maybe I should put that off and make a Moda Love? Haha! Yay for the closing date! Soon you’ll be in your own home!
Sew cute, Jan! And what a great quilt design. I love that it can be made from candies, charms or layer cakes. Yay for Jack’s Basket!!!

Happy Quilting! 🙂
Doing a great job on these quilts! Three for Jack’s Basket – hooray!! Are you doing them for Hands2Help or independently? I ask as I met Sarah yesterday, a totally sweetheart. Either way it is a terrific quilt and the back is perfect too!
