My second quilt for Amy’s Creative Side – 2018 Blogger’s Quilt Festival is from a QAL earlier this year. This quilt really turned out great and is my favorite from this year that is staying at my house.
Used a squiggle line with my walking foot and purple thread.
Pieced backing from the same fabric line, you know I’m not creative enough to pick something else.
Finished with a label and matched binding.
You can read the details of this quilts making in this earlier here.
Don’t forget to check out the other quilts at Amy’s.
This will most likely be my last post for this year. Quilting comes to a halt, as I will be having rotator cuff surgery Friday. So I will be trolling the internet getting my quilting fix until our move and recovery.
Thanks for stopping by today.
This is gorgeous Jan. The quilting really pops. xxx
This is a great quilt – love all the yummy colours! Best of luck with your surgery.
I love this quilt, Jan! It’s on my bucket list. Yours is made from that great line of fabric, too.
A lovely finish! Good luck with your surgery.
I love this quilt, Jan! Keep it out and cuddle under it as you recover from surgery! Hope it all goes well!
This is sew pretty. Bright colours that pop and an easy/quick pattern. Yay you.
The squiggles quilting was the perfect way to finish the quilt!
I love how such a simple block can make a great design and show off the pretty fabric! The bright green binding is so perfect for your quilt, too! Hope your surgery and recovery go smoothly, and it’s not long before you can get back to sewing.
I have this book and this quilt is definitely on my to-do list. I love that it uses a big variety of fabrics. Lovely quilt, Jan!
