The Fat Quarter Shop Clementine QAL is finishing! It has been a great six months that have gone so quickly. It is now time to put the top together, make a sandwich and complete this quilt. It isn’t too late to join in and make this gorgeous quilt. Kits are still available here. I can’t say enough good things about this kit. The FQS is so very generous in the fabric allotments included in this kit. I have a good amount of fabric that I will be able to use on future projects.
You all have heard my tale of selling our house and moving to a temporary spot in the middle of this project. I have the top completed and it looks beautiful. I think this is the largest quilt I have done and I am so pleased. But due to space constraints I won’t be able to get this sandwiched and quilted until early next year.
So for the time being, please enjoy these pictures of the top all together and blowing in the wind.
Let’s not forget the best part about this quilt. It benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Here is the link for each months patterns.
Great job, Jan, getting such a large quilt put together under your “moving” circumstances! It is beautiful.
Jan, it is gorgeous! You did a great job considering the move and all that entails. You should be very proud. That binding is spectacular – so nice to have it all ready long before it gets quilted. I can tell you I have forgotten about the one I made and made another!
It came together beautifully! It looks like you have a fun project to look forward to working on in the new year. 🙂
Beautiful! So colorful and happy, I love how the larger and smaller blocks fit together.
Love your ‘clementine’ QAL top, such bright & happy colours against the white!
