Once I was back from vacation, my mail was full of my blocks from being the January Queen.
I was fortunate to have gotten 2 blocks from some of my mates and was able to put together this quick 48″ x 48″ quilt.
With a scrap of backing and binding, we are all set.

How fun that you come home and can whip up a quilt, just like that! And a pretty one at that! I love the striped border too. Welcome home! Hope you had a wonderful vacation!
Cute, love the color scheme!
Good Morning Jan,
Wow, this quilt turned out great! How nice to come home from vacay to a quilt that puts itself together rather quickly. That is fun! I love all the rich fabrics your bee mates selected – they all look like jewel tones, and I love the different grays selected. My absolute favorite part is the striped binding! That really looks great. ~smile~ Roseanne
That looks fabulous. It looks like little jewel inserts.
What a beautiful quilt! I especially love how you put the darker blocks together at the bottom…very clever!
Wow that is great. I am going to start a small bee group. You inspired me. Any tips would be appreciated. I think I have some friends who will do it right here in my town so don’t have to mail . This just looks like fun.
Fantastic! Any plans for the quilt?
Lovely quilt. I need to look at the block to see how you could match all those corners. Well duh. Just took another look. The rectangles are what are on the outside of the block. Fun that you could get it together so quickly.
Love this! Simple design but so effective! Thank you for sharing it on Midweek Makers
What a cute quilt! Love that binding. I know how special it is to have a quilt with blocks made for you by your friends. So wonderful! Thanks for linking up to Wednesday Wait Loss.
I like the color pops against the whites and greys.
