I started this quilt, Missouri Star Quilt Company – Ribbon Dance, after seeing the pattern pop up in my facebook post. I had a layer cake of Rainy Day by Me and My Sister Designs.
I started this the first of the month and decided to have it as my March – OMG (One Monthly Goal).
It turned out very cute. I love the fabrics by Me and My Sister Designs. When I started quilting in August, 2015, the first “real” fabric I purchased was Dot Dot Dash in a jellyroll. That started it for me.
This are the blocks as they were put together. |
I used pink strip from the Dot Dot Dash collection. |
And sticking with the theme used Pink Dot from the Dot Dot Dash collection as well. |
I was thrilled to have this finished for the March One Monthly Goal with Elm Street Quilts. I wasn’t sure I would get this done.
I have been working on updating the blog and moving to a self-hosted site. I had no idea what all was entailed until I started. That is for another post.
In the meantime, I am linking up with:
What a cute quilt!
Congrats on a beautiful finish!
Great finish for March! Just have to love those bright happy colors for Spring.
Fun quilt! Thanks for linking up with Elm Street Quilts One Monthly Goal and congrats on your finish.
Love this one!
Beautiful finish for March. Love the Dot Dash fabrics.
Your quilt is so pretty.
This is so pretty! The fabrics are so cheery.
That is one pretty quilt. I love the bright and cheerful colors and modern , yet traditional, pattern.
I’m making a crib quilt with this pattern using jellyrolls. I think after I’m done with this one I will dive into my scraps and make on using 10 inch squares. Thanks for your inspiration.
